Property management for Rwanda: leases, recurring invoices, mobile-money rent payments, maintenance and owner dashboards, with an Expo app for tenants.
Domiva is property-management software for Rwanda. Managers and owners run units, leases, invoices, payments and maintenance in one place, and tenants pay rent and raise issues from a mobile app. I co-founded it, ran it as CEO, and built nearly all of the product myself: the web app, the API, the tenant app and the background jobs.
Many property managers track rent and tenants in spreadsheets and chat threads. Rent is chased by hand, owners can't see how their properties are performing, and tenants get no reminder before a payment is due.
Domiva is a TypeScript monorepo. The web app (Next.js) and the tenant app (React Native) share one typed API, so changing an endpoint is checked in both clients at compile time. Background jobs handle reminders and recurring invoices, and every job is guaranteed to run exactly once.
